Trojan Energy has announced that over 3,000 residents have submitted applications for its Trojan Home electric vehicle (EV) charging unit within just ten weeks.
The company highlights this as a clear indicator of rising demand for accessible, reliable and home-connected EV charging infrastructure in residential areas.
Trojan Home enables cross-pavement charging, offering a solution for households without off-street parking.
According to the company, 11 local councils have already partnered to support the rollout.
Trojan Energy states that while current partnerships are facilitating expansion, additional council engagement will be essential to meet increasing interest from residents.
“The demand is loud and clear,” the company indicated in its latest update, adding that both residents and Trojan Energy are prepared to scale, pending further municipal collaboration.
About Trojan Energy chargers
Trojan Energy is focused on transforming the EV charging landscape by developing reliable, accessible and future-ready solutions.
The company offers two main products:
- Trojan Hub: Designed for shared use, this on-street charging network delivers high-power charging without obstructing pavements. Its flat-and-flush design ensures that public walkways remain safe and accessible, while providing nearby, dependable charging for EV users.
- Trojan Home: This solution enables at-home charging directly from the street, aimed at residents without off-street parking. By integrating flat-and-flush infrastructure with access to ultra-low home energy tariffs, Trojan Home offers a simple and safe way to bring home charging to more users.
Trojan Energy collaborates with local authorities and industry partners to deploy scalable infrastructure, supporting the shift to electric mobility and contributing to a more sustainable transport system.
The company advocates for equitable access to charging, ensuring that infrastructure keeps pace with rising demand and encourages broader EV adoption.
