"Oasis": Tesla develops charging park with 168 Superchargers

Max de Zegher, Tesla’s Head of Charging Business in North America, announced on social media platform X the company’s upcoming plans to create a new charging park in California.

Moreover, this project combines Tesla’s energy and charging areas better than any previous project by the company.

The charging park will be built halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles, on Interstate 5, a highway frequently used by electric vehicles (EVs).

The project, whose foundation stone has already been laid, will impressively integrate Tesla’s various energy and charging products.

The initiative, named Oasis, is set to include 168 Supercharger stations in the town of Lost Hills.

Electricity will be generated and stored using products from Tesla’s Energy division.

For this purpose, a solar system with an output of 11 megawatts is planned.

At the same time, ten stationary Megapack storage units with a total capacity of 39 megawatt-hours will be installed.

The opening of the charging park is scheduled for mid-2025.
