Where and when? Free2move prepares to expand into new markets with its mobility service

Free2move, part of the renowned automotive group Stellantis, is in a phase of strategic expansion.

Within the framework of the Global Mobility CallVinícius Maia Fensterseifer, Key Account Manager of the company, confirms to Mobility Portal España that next year they will land in more European countries.

The decision, taken after a recent meeting, aims to strengthen its presence on the continent and expand the scope of its solutions for both companies and individuals.

However, the next destinations have not yet been announced.

What does the company offer?

Free2move is determined to lead the eMobility sector with an innovative approach to carsharing, flexible rental and fleet management services.

“Being part of the Stellantis Group allows us to offer quality cars that come directly from the dealership, ensuring optimal maintenance and a superior customer experience,” says Maia Fensterseifer.

This guarantee, backed by a fleet of vehicles that does not exceed 35,000 kilometers, is one of the key differentiators compared to other companies in the sector.

In addition to expansion, the firm also anticipates an increase in carsharing services in Spain, reflecting its focus on strengthening key markets before expanding into new regions.

In this regard, he said that next year, new services will be launched in several Spanish cities, but “we will reveal the specific details later.”

It is worth noting that Free2move is characterized by its flexible model adapted to the specific needs of each user.

“We offer services ranging from minutes to 24 months, including carsharing, flexible rental and the possibility of managing entire fleets through our platform,” explains the company’s representative.

This allows us to serve both individuals and companies, adjusting to specific demands such as one-off transfers or long-term rentals.

Regarding his proposal for companies, the executive emphasizes how Free2move services facilitate business mobility without incurring unnecessary expenses

“Employees can access a car close to the office for meetings or visits, paying only for the time used, without the costs associated with maintenance or parking,” he explains.

What role does sustainable mobility play in your strategy?

Free2move is increasingly investing in zero-emission solutions.

“ Electric and plug-in hybrid cars are the core of our business,” he says.

He added: “We encourage their use by offering advantages such as discounts if users recharge their cars at specific points.”

In the rental-per-minute service, the company manages a fleet of more than 500 electric vehicles in Madrid, ensuring that they are always available with a minimum battery level.

This ensures that the user can reach their destination, such as the office, while the company subsequently takes care of “refueling” the cars using its own chargers.

This service is reinforced by the installation of its own hubs and alliances with urban charging stations, which guarantees adequate infrastructure for the carsharing service.

Where is Free2move located?

With operations in countries such as France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and the United States, the firm is positioned as a global player with accessible and technologically advanced mobility solutions.

Its digital platform allows users to book vehicles anywhere in the world, even acting as an intermediary for car rental companies.

What are the reasons behind the company’s success?

“Our main advantage lies in the quality guarantee of the vehicles and the ease of access through a single application,” explains the Key Account Manager.

And not only that.

It also ensures a fast and efficient registration process, allowing new users to access a car within minutes after verifying their documentation.

His time at the Global Mobility Call

The company’s participation in the Global Mobility Call not only strengthens its commitment to the sector, but has also allowed it to establish strategic connections.

Maia Fensterseifer comments: “ The fair has offered us business opportunities and the possibility to schedule meetings with potential clients.”

He also highlighted that the most frequent queries received during the event revolved around its carsharing and flexible rental solutions.

With more than 6 million customers and a fleet of 450,000 vehicles, the company is poised to lead the transition to cleaner, more efficient transportation solutions.

“We want our clients, whether individuals or companies, to find the perfect solution for their mobility needs in Free2move,” he concludes.
