Electrip, a leading company in electric mobility, has inaugurated in Milanofiori Nord (Assago, Italy), the largest and most powerful ultra-fast charging hub in the country and Southern Europe.

The Assago hub is a crucial infrastructure for electric mobility in the province of Milan and Lombardy, allowing simultaneous fast charging for up to 32 electric vehicles (EVs).
Its location provides easy access for both local and long-distance drivers, addressing one of the main challenges of e-mobility in the region.
This is Electrip’s fourth ultra-fast charging hub in Italy, following the activation of stations in Aosta (May 2024), Rondissone (September 2024), and Caserta (December 2024).
Each of these hubs includes at least ten charging stations and offers a total power capacity between 1.8 MW and 6.4 MW.
Electrip Italia is moving forward with 16 additional hubs currently under development, set to go live throughout 2025.

The company aims to exceed 50 ultra-fast charging stations in Italy by the end of 2026.
As part of this expansion, it is planning to roll out its first urban hubs in Rome and Milan.
“This hub is more than just a charging station. It is the tangible expression of our vision to facilitate the transition to electric mobility through powerful, accessible, and sustainable charging solutions,” says Giovanni Fornaro, Country Director of Electrip Italia.
