Two notices for applications to encourage the introduction of zero-emission vehicles into the public sector, as part of the Green Mobility – Passengers and Green Mobility – Goods packages, have now been published on the Environmental Fund website.
Applications open on 31 March 2025.
With a global allocation of 15.5 million euros, these measures aim to support the decarbonisation of the transport sector, promote the renewal of fleets and encourage the use of more sustainable modes of mobility.
Green Mobility – Passengers: 13.5 million euros -The notice addressed to passenger mobility covers a variety of vehicle and equipment types, including:
- 100% electric passenger cars: up to €4,000 for individuals and €5,000 for IPSS, local authorities and transport authorities, with the obligation to scrap fossil fuel vehicles that are more than ten years old. Purchase price limit: €38,500 (including VAT and associated costs) or €55,000 for vehicles with more than 5 seats. New 100% electric vehicles, first purchased and registered after 1 January 2025, are eligible.
- Cargo bikes, electric and conventional bikes: support between €500 and €1,500, with an increase for electric bikes.
- Electric motorcycles, tricycles, quadricycles and other personal mobility devices: up to €1,500.
- Chargers for electric vehicles in multi-family condominiums: incentive of 80% of the purchase price of the charger (up to €800), per parking space, to which 80% of the value of the electrical installation may be added (up to €1,000 per parking space).
The allocation of incentives covers the entire national territory and is subject to limits by type and beneficiary, with up to four incentives being requested per legal entity and one per individual, depending on the type of equipment. When applying, it is not necessary to present proof of purchase of the vehicle.
The process begins with the submission of the application. If the application is approved, the beneficiary has 90 days to purchase the vehicle and submit the required documents, namely proof of scrapping a vehicle that is more than 10 years old, using the form available on the Environmental Fund website.
This way, the candidate can know in advance whether he or she will be entitled to the financial support provided by the Environmental Fund.

- 100% electric light goods vehicles (category N1): incentive of €6,000 per unit, limited to two vehicles per beneficiary.
