From AC chargers with integrated screens to a smart home energy ecosystem, Daze is betting on design, usability, and a local support network as its key competitive differentiators in the European market.
“Our chargers are made for users who just want to plug in and return later to see how much charge was added. What’s most valued is the screen, simplicity and design,” says Andrea Daminelli in an exclusive interview with Mobility Portal Europe during Power2Drive.

Headquartered in Bergamo, the company has been developing electric chargers for over seven years and operates offices in Milan, Madrid, and Paris, from which it provides direct technical and commercial support.
During Power2Drive, Daze showcased its new public charging range offering 22 kW per outlet, specially adapted for the southern European markets.
“We design with local regulations in mind: specific switches for France, internal protections for Spain…,” explains Daminelli.
In addition, they have a direct presence in Milan, Madrid, and Paris, where they offer technical and commercial assistance.
“We provide support from our local offices. It’s something our customers greatly appreciate,” he adds.
And notably, their offering is not limited to AC charging, even though it remains their strongest bet.
Recently, they signed an agreement with Alpitronic to offer direct current (DC) solutions, enabling them to provide 360° coverage for charging at all levels.
Moreover, their growth shows no signs of slowing down.
Another significant step is their newly announced partnership with Autotorino, one of Italy’s largest dealership groups, with 70 branches and representing nine automotive groups.
This agreement positions Daze within a strategic ecosystem, broadening its capacity to sell chargers alongside new electric vehicles, thus facilitating domestic adoption of charging infrastructure.

Daze and the smart home eMobility ecosystem
The Italian firm also introduced its new home ecosystem, comprising a charger, solar inverter, battery, and energy management system (EMS).
The entire setup is managed through a single application that optimises energy use based on solar generation, time-of-use tariffs, or available storage capacity.
“You can instruct it to charge only with solar power or during off-peak hours. It’s a smart management system for home energy,” he summarises.
And all this is not limited to private households or end users.
Daze works with private customers, charge point operators (CPOs), businesses, hotels, and residential complexes.
“We want to cover every segment. The market is still small, and specialising too much limits opportunities. Today, people value having everything resolved by a single brand,” states Daminelli.
Regarding current market needs, Daminelli identifies two clearly defined profiles:
- Domestic users: seek simplicity, intuitive design, and visible functionalities such as screens and charging progress monitoring.
- Commercial clients: prioritise platform integration, technical support, remote management systems, and compact devices.
In both cases, he highlights that design and brand relationship make the difference.
“Simple things, thoughtful design, the screen, support… that’s what matters. The relationship with the product and the brand is what builds trust,” concludes Daze’s CEO.
