Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) has announced the integration of over 97,000 additional charging stations into the Porsche Charging Service through a partnership with ChargePoint and its roaming partners.
This expansion brings the total number of accessible charging stations for Porsche customers in the United States to 102,000, with further growth planned for 2025.
“Flexibility and choice are key,” said Timo Resch, President and CEO of PCNA. “We are committed to delivering a seamless charging experience as more customers purchase electrified Porsche vehicles in the U.S.”
Customers who are either within the inclusive period of the Porsche Charging Service or subscribed to the Premium plan can now access the ChargePoint and roaming partner network by activating access through the My Porsche app.
Access for users on the Base plan will become available later in summer 2025, according to the company.
The My Porsche app allows drivers to locate, use and pay at most charging stations supporting J1772 and CCS1 connectors. T
his new partnership enhances the existing collaboration with Electrify America, and extends access to networks within the ChargePoint roaming ecosystem, including EV Connect®, EVgo®, Flo®, EvGateway™ and Ionna™, among others.
A full list of supported networks and further information is available on the official Porsche website.
