DKV Mobility, a leading platform for international mobility services, has integrated the charging infrastructure of Hungarian energy company MOL into its European EV roaming network.
Effective immediately, customers using the DKV Card +Charge gain access to approximately 480 additional charge points across six countries: Hungary, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia.
By integrating MOL Plugee’s charge points, the company is strengthening its e-mobility offering in a region that is rapidly expanding its charging infrastructure and gaining importance for cross-border freight and passenger transport.
Newly deployed MOL Plugee charging stations will be automatically added to the DKV Mobility acceptance network.
“The integration of MOL Plugee’s charge points marks another milestone in expanding our acceptance network in Central and Eastern Europe,” says Sven Mehringer, Managing Director Energy & Vehicle Services at DKV Mobility. “MOL has been a strong partner in the fuel business for many years. We are all the more pleased that MOL is now pursuing ambitious growth plans in the field of e-mobility – and that we are shaping this path together.”
“The future of transportation will rely on multiple energy sources – and we are working to provide tangible, accessible solutions for all of them. Our cooperation with DKV Mobility is further proof that MOL is successfully integrating alternative mobility services at an international level,” said Tamás Czikora, Mobility Director of the MOL Group.
MOL Plugee’s charging stations are integrated into DKV Mobility’s acceptance network with the help of software from GreenFlux, a subsidiary of DKV Mobility. The Amsterdam-based EV charging software provider operates the platform through which DKV Mobility customers can access EV charging services and recently signed a cooperation agreement with MOL.
With access to approximately 938,000 charge points, DKV Mobility offers one of the most extensive EV charging networks in Europe. In addition, DKV Mobility offers EV charging solutions for company locations (@work), as well as for company car drivers at home (@home).
