In a rapidly advancing electric mobility landscape, FLEXECHARGE announces its partnership with Powered by E.ON Drive & Clever.
When Powered by E.ON Drive & Clever proposed building one of the most reliable ultra-fast charging networks in Northern Europe, they had a clear mission: to make electric vehicle charging as fast and seamless as refuelling, without overloading the grid.
However, in Sweden, the project faced a familiar familiar roadblock: the maximum effect penalty—a monthly grid fee triggered by a single power peak.
To address this issue, FLEXECHARGE deployed its smart load shaping technology, successfully mitigating these spikes without impacting the user experience.
Currently, 48 high-powered charging stations are live, with additional locations under development across Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.
FLEXECHARGE emphasises that this type of collaboration not only optimises existing infrastructure but also lays the foundation for large-scale electric mobility adoption across borders.
“This is just the beginning,” the company states, reaffirming its commitment to the sustainable growth of charging networks in Europe.
