Q-Park partners with GreenFlux to boost EV charging infrastructure in the Netherlands

Q-Park, a leading owner and operator of off-street parking infrastructure, has partnered with GreenFlux, a pioneering provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging platforms, to further expand Q-Park’s charging activities.

Under this agreement, GreenFlux will migrate 1,700 Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSEs) to its backend system.

Q-Park selected the GreenFlux EV charging management platform due to its advanced multi-level smart charging solutions and various Charge Point Management System (CPMS) options.

The collaboration is a natural step in many respects.

Both companies were founded in the Netherlands and primarily focus on the European market, with operations in core countries including the Netherlands, Germany, France, Belgium, and the United Kingdom.

Both organisations also offer high-quality, intelligent eMobility solutions with a strong commitment to sustainability.

GreenFlux has established a strong position in the European commercial parking industry, as top players in the sector — including Q-Park — are now using its EV charging platform.

To integrate the charging stations into its new backend, GreenFlux had to migrate Q-Park’s charge points from the Shell Recharge backend.

Suthalan Gnanes, Managing Director at GreenFlux, says: “With this agreement, we further strengthen our already significant presence in the European commercial parking sector.”

“Q-Park is a well-known parking and mobility brand with an excellent reputation. This partnership demonstrates our long-term commitment to supporting and enhancing the parking industry. Moreover, we now serve the largest parking service providers in Europe with our e-mobility solutions.”

Michiel Tenge, Managing Director at Q-Park Netherlands, states: “Electric charging is becoming increasingly important for Q-Park, as our customers expect to be able to charge their electric vehicles while parked.”

“EV charging is part of our proposition to make cities more liveable and accessible. Partnering with GreenFlux gives us greater flexibility and control, enabling us to support our growth ambitions.”
