Chargia, the startup founded by Eduardo Medina Banderas and Martín Fimia Casalilla, has conceived AI CHARGE 2035 as a meeting point for the entire electric-mobility value chain, designed to discuss openly how artificial intelligence can redefine the sector’s evolution.
The event is rooted in the company’s own philosophy: a space where technology and real-world operations speak to each other without intermediaries.
The team has already developed a conversational assistant capable of handling incidents, planning routes, locating charge points and, soon, processing payments directly through messaging apps.
An addition worth noting is the recent arrival of Juan Luis Anaya, referenced by Fimia as a Computer Engineer whose experience strengthens the company’s technological core. His incorporation reflects how Chargia is consolidating a development team aimed at delivering a product ready to scale.
According to Medina, the momentum around the platform makes this the right moment to move further and initiate an honest conversation about the real problems that technology can already solve today.
From that premise —and with a vision anchored in simplicity, efficiency and scalability— AI CHARGE 2035 takes shape. “The sector needs spaces where we can speak plainly about what can be improved right now,” Medina notes when reflecting on the call for dialogue.
The event is not conceived as “just another conference,” but as a forum willing to speak without euphemisms, place technology at the centre and address challenges that rarely surface in public debates. The aim: to inspire the entire eMobility value chain and face the coming years with renewed ambition.
The first edition will be held on 18 December, from 10:00 to 15:00, at El Beatriz Madrid, in a bilingual format (English/Spanish) to showcase Spanish talent and capability to a global audience.
A broader lens on AI-driven charging
AI CHARGE 2035 will present an expanded view of the emerging smart-charging ecosystem, where AI-powered automation, real-time data and efficient spatial management converge to build a more seamless, integrated and reliable electric-vehicle experience.
This transversal forum will bring together CPOs, OEMs, software providers (CPMS), installers, fleet operators and industry leaders to examine how AI is reshaping operations, user experience and the business models that will dominate the next decade.

For Medina, the conversation must go far beyond charging:
“We need to talk about what this industry will look like ten years from now. Everyone agrees that AI can automate processes and improve profitability. What’s missing is alignment of visions and shared learning.”
This is why the programme extends beyond companies tied directly to charging infrastructure. It also calls on manufacturers, utilities, consultancies, startups, data analysts and innovation teams.
Inside the AI CHARGE 2035 agenda
AI CHARGE 2035 will offer discussions structured around two thematic blocks. The names of the panellists will be announced in the coming days.
Block 1: EV User Experience 2035

The first panel will focus on the vision and reality of users, with contributions from Chargia, CPOs, CPMS providers, manufacturers, installers and OEMs.
A second panel will widen the conversation to the ecosystem and the market, incorporating voices from sector companies, communication specialists and influencers, dealerships, consultancies and institutions.
Block 2: AI, automation and operations
Panel three will explore end-to-end automation of charging, analysing how AI and integrated systems can optimise critical processes for operators, manufacturers and installers.
Panel four will focus on the travel experience and market transformation, bringing in companies from the EV world, commercial-ecosystem agents and stakeholders linked to data, consulting and innovation.
The event will take place on 18 December, from 10:00 to 15:00, at El Beatriz Madrid, with a bilingual setup designed to project the capabilities of the Spanish ecosystem globally.
And this is only the beginning: the team has already hinted at new editions in 2026, to be held across Madrid and Barcelona.

The essence of Chargia behind the initiative
The call for AI CHARGE 2035 stems from Chargia’s own DNA: entrepreneurship, technical expertise and daily reliance on the electric vehicle as a real use case.
From this experience, Medina imagined the platform as a tool capable of simplifying the interaction between drivers, operators and manufacturers —a logic that now drives the creation of this sector-wide forum.
As Medina puts it:
“We want to be the ChatGPT of electric vehicles. The idea is that with a simple message on WhatsApp, you have everything you need.”
