The Smart City Expo World Congress 2023 (SCEWC23), which will take place from November 7th to 9th at Fira Barcelona, will be the largest edition to date.
It will have strong support from business, government, and organizational partners, both national and international.
It is expected that over 25,000 attendees (from 800 different cities), 1,000 exhibitors, and 600 speakers will be present.
It is worth noting that the Smart City Expo is the world’s largest and most influential event on urban innovation.
Its goal is to showcase intelligent solutions that help cities thrive and create safer, greener, and more efficient communal spaces, with electric mobility being one of the proposals.
Regarding tickets, they are already on sale on the SCEWC23 website.
The event can be attended in-person or virtually, and discounts are available for students and group attendees.

Smart City organizes different editions around the world
The Smart City was first held in 2011 in Barcelona.
From 2013 onwards, the event expanded from its headquarters to other cities in different parts of the world.
Indeed, local editions tailored to the specific needs and interests of the host regions began to be developed.
Where will the next editions take place?
From October 4th to 5th, it will be held in New York (United States).
It is expected to host over 3,000 visitors, 100 speakers, and 75 partners from various nationalities.
From October 10th to 11th, in Doha (Qatar).
Around 6,000 visitors, 70 speakers, and 40 sponsors from over 100 countries are estimated to participate.
From October 12th to 13th, in Shanghái (China).
Estimations suggest that it will gather 25,000 visitors, 80 speakers, and 75 exhibitors.
It is worth mentioning that, so far this year, the event has already taken place in four cities in different countries.
Between March 22nd and 24th, it was held in Curitiba (Brazil), bringing together over 12,000 visitors, 120 speakers, and 70 partners from around the world.
From May 23rd to 25th, it took place in Merida (Mexico), with an edition that attracted 10,000 visitors, 300 speakers, and 200 partners from different nationalities.
The event in Bogotá (Colombia) was celebrated between May 31st and June 2nd, with 4,000 visitors, 70 speakers, and 60 partners from different countries participating.
Finally, from June 14th to 16th, it was held in Santiago del Estero (Argentina), bringing together over 5,000 visitors, 76 speakers, and 50 partners from around the world.
