This compact and intelligent device represents the latest addition to Wallbox‘s Pulsar family, and it is also one of the highlights of the recently launched “Get in charge” campaign by the company.
Unlike other members of the Pulsar family, the Pulsar PRO is specifically designed for shared environments, such as residential complexes, semi-public parking areas, and vehicle fleets.
One of its standout features is its advanced connectivity.
It comes with preconfigured 4G connectivity, allowing for remote updates and diagnostics.
Additionally, Pulsar PRO offers connectivity options via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, similar to its predecessor, the Pulsar Max.
A standout feature of Pulsar PRO is its integrated payment system based on RFID technology.
This enables users to quickly and securely identify themselves and make straightforward payments for their charging sessions.
The use of a registered RFID card ensures that only authorized users can activate or deactivate the charger, providing a seamless charging experience.
Furthermore, the internal meter ensures more precise billing, with an error margin of less than 2%.
Wallbox has significantly simplified the installation of Pulsar PRO to make it more intuitive, reducing the time required to get it up and running.
The company has also improved remote maintenance, allowing for software updates and easy replacement of the charging cable in case of damage.
These security updates protect the charger against unauthorized tampering, physical damage, and cyber threats.
Despite its compact size, Pulsar PRO can share power with up to 100 chargers thanks to its Dynamic Power Sharing (DPS) system.
This function efficiently distributes energy among multiple connected electric vehicles simultaneously, without requiring an increase in the electrical capacity of the installation, resulting in higher energy efficiency and lower operational costs.
To take charger management to the next level, Wallbox offers the free myWallbox Business app.
This app provides complete control over the chargers and energy management in projects with multiple chargers.
As a result, network administrators can add and configure new chargers, manage users, and enable automatic or recurring payments for their regular customers or employees.”

Wallbox and Payment System Innovation
Ivan Tallón, Country Manager Iberia of the company, participated in one of the latest virtual events hosted by Portal Movilidad España and exclusively shared details about the new features that will be available at their charging points in the short and medium term.
The issue of charging payments is one of the key concerns for many electric vehicle users, and Wallbox is addressing this challenge.
Tallón stated, “The most interesting challenge we have is related to the integration of charging points, but also with payments.”
The company’s goal is to ensure that each user does not have to deal with multiple different payment receipts and can manage everything through a single platform.
With this working engine, they have set the goal of achieving integrated systems with electronic toll collection, which allows them to “simplify” things for Wallbox customers.
The incorporation of artificial intelligence is not an issue left out of the research they are conducting, as stated by the Country Manager. This is something that is already on their agenda.
But that’s not all.
“Regarding charging technology, we continue to work on DC, mainly at 60 kW, and we have been advancing directional charging for years. Management software, smart charging, and eco-smart are other areas we are also focusing on,” he adds.
These latter areas are directly connected to the application of renewable energies and self-consumption for powering electric cars, a trend that is clearly here to stay.
It is also known that the chargers work with solar power alone or in combination with the grid.
