Milence, a joint venture involving Daimler Truck, Volvo, and TRATON, has entered into a strategic partnership with Greenflux, a subsidiary of DKV Mobility.
The recently-signed cooperation aims to redefine the landscape of e-truck charging infrastructure across Europe.
The collaboration empowers truck drivers to seamlessly use and pay for charging services through their DKV Card +Charge.
Aligned with Milence’s commitment, the partnership ensures accessibility to their charging infrastructure for all truck models and brands.
Moreover, it welcomes participation from various mobility card providers.
The driving force behind the partnership lies in the shared vision of achieving fossil-free road transport.
Roel Vissers, Chief Commercial Officer at Milence, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration with DKV & Greenflux, highlighting the significance of this move.
“This collaboration is a significant step forward in our mission to achieve fossil-free road transport by providing efficient and sustainable charging solutions for all electric trucks,” said Vissers.
“We are delighted to be working with DKV & Greenflux to provide a seamless charging experience for truck drivers across Europe in the future as we continue to expand our network,” he added.
Following the successful inauguration of their premier charging hub in Venlo, the Netherlands, Milence sets an ambitious target of deploying over 1,700 high-speed charging points throughout Europe by 2027, according to Sustainable Truck and Van.
