Attendees at Moveo will enjoy test drives of the latest electric vehicle models, exhibitions, workshops for all ages, sustainability experiments, raffles, competitions, and plenty of fun.
This diverse range of free activities is part of the third edition of Moveo, organised by the Association of Electric Vehicle Users (AUVE) and the City Council of Oviedo.
From 12th to 14th September, and under the umbrella of European Mobility Week, the Oviedo Congress and Exhibition Centre and its nearby streets will be themed around sustainable mobility, renewable energies, smart cities, circular economy, and the environment.
“We aim to bring new forms of mobility and a more sustainable and innovative future closer to everyone,” says Ángel García, President of AUVE.
He adds: “We will have dozens of stands from Asturian and national companies showcasing the most disruptive services and products of the moment.”
Entities such as Bosquia, Adarsa, FAEN, SotySolar, the City Council of Oviedo, Alsa, Huawei, Masnorte Renovables, Eranovum, and Alimerka will present their services and products related to sustainable mobility, renewable energies, and the environment.
Conecta, CEPSA, Tartiere Auto, Masymas, Caja Rural de Asturias, and others will also showcase their contributions in these areas.
In an effort to further engage the younger generation, educational workshops with a theoretical-practical focus will be held on 12th and 13th September, involving approximately 75 students.
Facilitated by a group of Asturian companies, the students will work on solving a range of challenges, such as maintaining local forests, improving connectivity in rural areas, and optimising natural resource use.
The future debated with over 200 professionals
Under the theme “Designing the Future: Green, Digital, and Accessible”, the Oviedo Congress and Exhibition Centre will host the III Moveo Professional Congress on 12th September, for over seven hours.
This congress aims to become a knowledge hub, facilitating discussions on current issues such as the value chain of new mobility, present and future business models, and global challenges affecting innovation and sustainability in the business sector.
