Allego, a leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, announced a reduction in the high-power charging (HPC) price in the Netherlands starting July 1st in a move set to provide meaningful relief to both consumers and businesses.
The new rate will be 0.79 euros per kWh, a decrease from the current rate of 0.864 euros per kWh.
This reduction underscores the commitment to making energy more affordable for all in the Netherlands.
“HPC is at the forefront of the electric mobility revolution, enabling drivers to power up their vehicles in minutes rather than hours. At Allego, we are dedicated to making this advanced technology accessible and affordable for all,” says Jules Sommers, Managing Director for Allego Netherlands.
Ultra-fast stations operate at 150 kilowatts or higher, enabling significantly quicker charging times.
With HPC, compatible vehicles can add hundreds of kilometers of range in under 20 minutes, making long-distance travel more convenient and reducing downtime for both private drivers and commercial fleets.
The company also offers additional benefits for EV drivers who are looking to travel this summer.
The Summer Pass 2025 is a limited-time offer designed to make electric mobility even more accessible and affordable during the busy summer travel season.
This subscription offers access to Allego’s extensive fast and ultra-fast charging network across Europe, with an exclusive 30% discount on local ad-hoc prices.
