The station was deployed as part of the RicaricACI project and is strategically located near the Trenord railway station, in the parking area on via Diaz.
It is accessible to both residents and visitors, supporting the region’s shift toward electric mobility.
Local authorities and project partners attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony, including Enrico Gelpi, President of ACI Como; Roberto Conforti, Director of ACI Como; Giovanni Alberti, Mayor of Mariano Comense and Vice President of the Province of Como; Loredana Testini, Councillor for Sustainability and Renewable Energy; Niccolò Aiazzi, Head of Site Acquisition at Atlante; and Fausto Brambilla, ACI delegate in Mariano Comense.
With this new installation, Mariano Comense joins a growing network of 18 charging stations that ACI Como is developing across the province in collaboration with Atlante. Charging points have already been activated in Olgiate Comasco, Cabiate, Erba, Como and Centro Valle Intelvi.
Residents of Mariano Comense and ACI members can benefit from preferential rates when using Atlante’s charging services.
“With this new site in Mariano Comense, Atlante reaffirms its commitment to electric mobility by delivering a charging station designed for efficiency, accessibility and ease of use,” said Niccolò Aiazzi of Atlante Italy.
“We are pleased to contribute to the transition toward sustainable mobility, in partnership with ACI Como and the local administration.”
