Construction is well underway at St. James Retail Park in Knaresborough, where Be.EV is installing six ultra-rapid charging bays (up to 150 kilowatts) to power up shoppers while they visit popular stores such as McDonald’s, Next, Matalan, Boots, TK Maxx, and more.
These new charging bays offer the perfect combination of ultra-fast charging and retail convenience, making it easier than ever to charge up while enjoying your shopping experience.
This development marks the second phase of a major rollout worth over 1.8 million pounds in partnership with Bramall Properties.
The goal? To bring 22 ultra-rapid charging bays to retail parks across the North, enhancing the convenience of electric vehicle (EV) owners who are out and about shopping.

“God’s Own County, we’re coming to you next with another site!,” states Asif Ghafoor, CEO at Be.EV.
“We’re growing our network in the North & Knaresborough is next!,” says Mark Williamson, Head of Asset Delivery at the company.
