During IAA Transportation 2024, BYD showcased its new range of electric vans and trucks.
This event marked the world premiere of the BYD E-VALI, a 3.5 t/4.25 t light commercial vehicle (LCV) that is 100% electric.
It boasts innovative technology and significant load capacity, making it an ideal choice for last-mile delivery and courier services.
With a load capacity that surpasses many other vans in its category, the cutting-edge BYD E-VALI stands out for its design, combining a sleek appearance with advanced energy-efficient technologies and smart connected experiences.
Equipped with the latest generation of BYD’s Blade Battery, the E-VALI excels in safety, durability, and efficiency.
Its ergonomically designed cabin offers maximum comfort and a high level of equipment, including a comprehensive set of safety systems (ADAS).
With a range of 220 to 250 km (depending on the version), it is a practical and low-maintenance solution for eco-friendly commercial van fleets.
The company also introduced the BYD EYT 2.0, a robust 100% electric port and airport cargo truck for use in ports, terminals, and distribution centres.
The EYT 2.0 features a new design concept to modernise its appearance while maintaining the characteristic offset cabin that provides excellent comfort and visibility.
With a combined gross weight of up to 75 t, the BYD EYT 2.0 stands out as a durable and agile electric port and airport cargo truck that offers great manoeuvrability. Its powerful capabilities enable it to handle large containers and trailers effortlessly.
Equipped with BYD’s Blade Battery, it provides up to 16 hours of working time combined with rapid and efficient recharging between shifts for optimal productivity.
It is worth noting that both vehicles are adapted for the European market and equipped with the latest innovations in battery technology and safe, efficient, high-performance propulsion systems.

At Stand B72 in Hall 21, BYD also displayed other eTrucks, such as the ETM6 and the ETH8.

The BYD ETH8 is a 19 t electric truck specifically designed for logistics and healthcare services, featuring a versatile platform for various operations and two wheelbase options.
This vehicle provides quiet and agile operation with a practical range of 250 km.
It also comes with a comprehensive standard equipment package and a spacious cabin with ergonomic design, developed to offer the utmost comfort for the driver.
Like the ETM6, it uses the eTruck platform developed exclusively by BYD, incorporating innovative technologies.
This includes the cutting-edge 5-in-1 controller for optimal performance and efficiency, as well as easier maintenance.
It features a high-capacity battery of 255 kWh, which can be charged from 20% to 100% in two hours.
Designed for the European continent, it is a versatile addition to commercial fleets needing 100% electric eco-friendly solutions to meet their sustainability goals.
