Delta, a global leader in power management and IoT-based smart solutions, announced that its 200 kilowatts UFC 200 ultra-fast charger has been selected to support IZIVIA FAST, a company currently deploying ultra-fast chargers at more than 700 McDonald’s parking lots across France.
Approximately 800 units of the UFC 200 are expected to be installed to provide McDonald’s customers with ultra-fast charging infrastructure and an excellent electric mobility experience.
Delta’s UFC 200 chargers can charge up to 80% of a typical EV battery in approximately 20 minutes.
Christelle Vives, CEO of IZIVIA, a subsidiary of the EDF Group, states:

“As a leader in electric mobility, IZIVIA is committed to improving the EV charging landscape, operating more than 25,000 charging points. Although France has over 143,000 publicly accessible charging points, less than 10% provide 150 kilowatts or more.”
“IZIVIA FAST, in collaboration with our financial partners Morrison and Crédit Mutuel Impact, aims to bridge this gap, reinforcing our commitment to fast charging and supporting EV drivers across the country,” she adds.
Vincent Lin, Vice President of eMobility & Smart Energy Solutions at Delta EMEA, says:
“We are grateful that IZIVIA has chosen Delta to serve McDonald’s and its customers, emphasizing our dedication to enhancing EV infrastructure in the EMEA region and beyond. For nearly 15 years, Delta has deployed over three million EV chargers for our customers worldwide.”
“Delta’s extensive range of flexible and efficient EV chargers, combined with our decades of expertise in energy-saving solutions and the automotive sector, positions us as a leading choice for EV charging solutions,” he adds.
Delta´s UFC 200: Advanced Technology for a Seamless Charging Experience
The Delta UFC 200 meets the demands of EV owners with its fast and easy charging capabilities, including a robust 200 kilowatts power capacity.
This power can be split into two 100 kilowatts units, allowing simultaneous charging of two EVs.
The system includes an innovative 400 A high-power CCS connector/cable without liquid cooling, ensuring efficient temperature control and relatively low maintenance costs.
This high-power connector system can deliver additional energy to an EV battery when it has a low charge, all without requiring an oversized system.
Furthermore, Delta’s commitment to high-quality solutions is evident, ensuring excellent service that aligns with the highest industry standards.
A Wide Charging Network, As Accessible As McDonald’s Locations
The partnership with IZIVIA is distinguished by its extensive network coverage, making it as easy to find an EV charging station as it is to find a McDonald’s restaurant.
This initiative enables customers to enjoy the convenience of EV charging while taking advantage of McDonald’s offerings.
