Electra has inaugurated its first ultra-fast charging hub in the city of Milan, located on Via Murat.
The launch marks the initial step in a broader strategy to deploy 17 stations with a total of 108 charging points by 2026.
According to the company, the infrastructure enables a full vehicle charge in approximately 20 minutes.
The aim is to ensure continuous service for residents, businesses, taxi fleets and car sharing operators.
The project is supported by the Municipality of Milan and partially funded through Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).
This collaboration is designed to strengthen the city’s position among the leading European capitals in transport electrification.
Electra’s objective is to install at least one ultra-fast charging hub along each of Milan’s main thoroughfares and in the surrounding metropolitan area.
The company stated that the infrastructure will simplify access to high-speed charging solutions both within the city and across its hinterland.
