Throughout the early months of this year, multiple events have taken place to promote the transition to electric mobility.
However, there are still some to be held in the last three months of 2023.
In order to promote the eMobility trend, various congresses and exhibitions have been held throughout the national territory.
Portal Movilidad España has been present at two of them: the Madrid Vehicle Fair (VEM) and the Sustainable Mobility Exhibition (MOVEO).
Below, a review of the schedule with the most prominent upcoming events.
Urban Mobility Days
The event, organized in collaboration with the Spanish Presidency of the Council, will take place in Seville from October 4th to 6th.
In the context of the European Year of Skills, this event will have a specific focus on skills related to transportation.
Within this framework, a series of conferences will bring together politicians, local authorities, industry representatives, and urban transport professionals with the European Commission.
It will be a space to connect, share, and discuss the path towards a sustainable, innovative, and equitable future for urban mobility in Europe.
e-Mobility Experience
The second edition of the e-Mobility Experience will take place on the weekend of October 7th and 8th in Barcelona.
This is the fair that brings together the latest developments in the electric mobility sector and offers solutions to current mobility challenges.
Over two days, the Catalan city will host major electric vehicle brands, providing experiential proposals and activities for all audiences.
Attendees will have the opportunity to test drive electric cars on the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya track, which includes circuits specifically designed for motorcycles, bicycles, and scooters. Additionally, there will be an extensive vehicle exhibition area in the paddock.
Furthermore, the event features activities for children and an extensive area with various culinary offerings, quality products, and live music.
Global Mobility Call
From October 24th to 26th, Madrid will be the host of one of the most anticipated events in the sector.
The Global Mobility Call is an international congress on Sustainable Mobility for People and Goods that connects all industries and stakeholders involved.
Its goal is to create experiences, establish networking opportunities, and promote business opportunities among companies, municipalities, institutions, administrations, and other entities.
Some of the speakers who will be present at this edition include Antonio Cendrero, Managing Director of Arriva, and Antonio Garcia Pastor, Director of Operations at Avanza.
Once again, Grupo Portal Movilidad will be present to provide journalistic coverage by conducting interviews with prominent speakers on the agenda.
The event is organized by IFEMA Madrid and Smobhub, and it is driven by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility, and Urban Agenda.
It has the collaboration of the ministries of Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, Industry, Trade, and Tourism, the Autonomous Community of Madrid, and the City of Madrid.
In addition, it has the representation of corporate partners such as ADIF, Renfe, Iberdrola, BP, EMT, Cepsa, Uber, HVR, and Ulity, among others.
This edition is expected to have an attendance of more than 10,000 professionals.

CharIN Conference & Testival Europe
From October 24th to 27th, CharIN Conference & Testival Europe will take place in Valencia, hosted by Power Electronics.
The European association for the advancement of the CCS charging system has planned a week centered around electric mobility charging.
Its goal is to provide attendees with the opportunity to test equipment and establish contacts with various stakeholders in the electric mobility value chain.
During the Testival, interoperability between a variety of vehicles, charging stations, and communication controllers can be tested, or attendees can observe testing activities.
The Spanish Business Association for the Development and Promotion of Electric Mobility (AEDIVE) will be present at this event.
Tomorrow.Mobility World Congress
The platform for sustainable and smart urban mobility will take place from November 7th to 9th in Barcelona.
The Tomorrow.Mobility Congress will bring together industry executives, government leaders, and global experts to address the critical challenges facing the transportation sector.
It will also provide a platform to share effective and proven solutions.
Confirmed speakers for this edition include Timothy Papandreou, CEO of Emerging Transport Advisors, and Karima Delli, Chair of the Committee on Transport and Tourism of the European Parliament.
