Energie 360° has acquired charging provider Move Mobility. The merger strengthens the group and consolidates its leading role in the Swiss e-mobility market.
The takeover of Move Mobility from Primeo Energie, Groupe E and EWB adds 4,700 charging points, increasing the total to more than 24,000 public and private devices across all Swiss regions.
The number of network users grows by 50,000, reaching over 250,000.
Move Mobility will be fully integrated into the Energie 360° group along with its employees, while maintaining its independent brand identity, in line with the other brands in the group.
Additionally, Energie 360° has acquired permits from the Federal Roads Office (ASTRA) for the construction and operation of charging hubs at around 40 motorway service areas.
Reto Baschera, Head of the Mobility Group at Energie 360°, comments: “We are proud to push forward e-mobility across all of Switzerland with the strength of our brands – Energie 360°, Gofast, Swisscharge and Move Mobility – as the number one provider of charging infrastructure.”
Jörg Wild, CEO of Energie 360°, states: “With the integration of Move Mobility, we are keeping value creation within the country, expanding our expertise, and strengthening Switzerland as a business location across all regions.”
Daniel Neuhaus, CEO of Move Mobility, says: “With Energie 360°, we gain a strong new owner that perfectly complements our regional roots in Romandy. Together, we offer a unique e-mobility experience across Switzerland, harness synergies, and further develop tailored solutions for our customers.”
Cédric Christmann, CEO of Primeo Energie, says: “Energie 360° gives Move the opportunity to develop efficiently in the growing market and respond even more precisely to customer needs.”
Alain Sapin, interim CEO of Groupe E, adds: “Following the sale, Groupe E will now focus on delivering complete e-mobility solutions for private and business customers, highlighting our long-term commitment to sustainable mobility.”
Rapid Expansion of Charging Network Across Switzerland
With this strategic move, Energie 360° is positioning itself as a key driver of the transition.
The group now operates the most extensive network of public and private charging points across all parts of Switzerland.
Real estate investors, businesses and fleet operators will benefit even more from a full-service offering – from planning to operation.
Energie 360° plans to invest around CHF 200 million in the expansion of its charging infrastructure by 2030.
Benefits for Customers in Switzerland
