EVBox, a frontrunner in electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, proudly announces the Eichrecht Measurement Certification for its commercial AC charger, EVBox Liviqo.

This marks a pivotal moment as the certification positions the charging station for widespread commercial use across Germany and Austria.

The Eichrecht certification, received under the Calibration Ordinance, solidifies EVBox Liviqo’s compliance with German Weights and Measurement Act standards.

Launched earlier this year, this equipment is designed to offer businesses a reliable, compliant, and seamless solution for opening their EV charging networks to the public.

EVBox Liviqo, equipped with an Eichrecht-compliant kWh meter, is now eligible to be part of a public charging network.

This allows businesses to showcase their stations on public maps, enhancing accessibility for electric vehicle users.

The integration of EVBox Everon software ensures hassle-free management of charging cards and billing for businesses adopting the Eichrecht-compliant EVBox Liviqo.

“EVBox’s commitment to Eichrecht certification for our AC commercial charging stations underscores our dedication to providing businesses in Germany with a solution that meets the strict legal requirements, offering a seamless and trustworthy experience for both businesses and EV users,” states Markus Dehn, Chief Technology Officer at EVBox.

By obtaining Module B and D certification, both the hardware and software components of this equipment comply with the latest German Weights and Measurement Act, ensuring standardized measurements and tariffs for the stations.

This certification not only simplifies the day-to-day operations of businesses but also facilitates the integration of EVBox Liviqo into the public charging landscape.

Dehn further highlighted the value of EVBox Liviqo’s display overlay technology, emphasizing its contribution to price transparency.

This feature enhances the overall user experience, aligning with EVBox’s mission to enable global businesses to embrace electric mobility and derive revenue from it.
