WAAT, a French provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, has announced the closing of a 100 million euros funding round.
The investment was led by DWS Group and Bpifrance, while RAISE Impact, which has supported the company since 2022, also reaffirmed its participation.
According to the company, this milestone marks a key phase in its scale-up strategy amid a highly competitive market.
WAAT plans to use the funding to accelerate the deployment of its charging infrastructure across France, with a focus on equipping condominiums, social housing units, and tertiary buildings.
The capital will also support the development of its technological offering and strengthen its local operations.
The company highlights that its growth is driven by a combination of innovation, operational efficiency, and a local approach.
These factors played a role in attracting new investors and securing continued support from existing shareholders.
