GreenFlux, an electric mobility platform provider, is expanding its roaming network in the UK market by signing a new roaming contract with Connected Kerb, one of the country’s largest charging point operators (CPOs).
Based in London, Connected Kerb focuses on AC and DC charging infrastructure with a mission to make charging inclusive, convenient, and reliable for everyone.
With this agreement, GreenFlux will add over 2,500 charging points in the UK to its extensive roaming network, which now includes more than 509,000 charging points across Europe.
This partnership allows zero-emission vehicle drivers served by the GreenFlux platform to seamlessly access over 2,500 charging points in the country through their electric mobility apps and charging card services.
Connected Kerb offers on-street community charging and works with local authorities to assist owners who cannot charge their cars at home. The operator also installs charging infrastructure at workplaces, retail destinations, parking facilities, commercial properties, and residential developments.
“Connected Kerb aims to ensure that no one is left behind in the shift to electric vehicles. Providing inclusive, reliable, and convenient charging infrastructure for all means making our chargers visible to as many drivers as possible,” said Chris Pateman-Jones, CEO of Connected Kerb.
“This partnership with GreenFlux will enable DKV Mobility app users to find, use, and pay for a charger on the Connected Kerb network seamlessly and hassle-free,” he added.
The new contract will be a key enabler of cross-channel charging in Europe and the UK. Through this contract, GreenFlux is rapidly expanding its roaming network in the UK market, which currently boasts over 20,000 charging points.
“We are proud to expand in the UK market with Connected Kerb. It’s good to see electric vehicle roaming increasing in the country,” said Suthalan Gnanes, CEO and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of GreenFlux.
“Connected with their extensive charging network would undoubtedly enhance charging experiences on the go and would be extremely valuable for drivers from our platform’s customers,” he added.
In addition to roaming, GreenFlux platform customers leverage their white-label apps and APIs to monetize their unique business models and deliver exceptional charging experiences.
