Ionity is set to launch a new fast-charging hub in Trezzano sul Naviglio, featuring 12 high-power chargers near Exit 6 (Corsico-Gaggiano) of Milan’s Tangenziale Ovest.
The site is already listed as “under construction” on Ionity’s website and is located in an isolated area, equipped with video surveillance for added security.
However, accessibility remains a challenge, as the nearest public transport stop requires walking along Strada Provinciale SP59, making it less convenient for users wishing to leave their vehicle while charging.
This expansion follows the recent launch of Electrip’s 32-stall ultra-fast charging hub in Assago, now the largest in Italy and Southern Europe, strategically positioned within Milanofiori Nord Business Park.
While Ionity’s new site lacks immediate amenities, the adjacent disused area could offer potential for future development.
