Lagos announces €4.6 million investment at business hubs: Is there a focus on eMobility?

This investment, co-financed by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), aims to support the green and digital transition of these business areas while ensuring the competitiveness of companies operating within them.

The Lagos municipality has allocated over €4.6 million for the development of next-generation infrastructure in local business hubs.

The awarded project, with a completion timeline of 365 days, focuses on four key areas:

Fire prevention and protection measures to enhance safety.

Integrated 5G telecommunication solutions to improve network coverage.

Renewable energy systems for production and storage, promoting self-consumption.

Electric vehicle charging stations to foster the shift toward sustainable mobility.

The initiative will benefit a total area of approximately 165,000 m², encompassing dozens of companies across three business hubs in Lagos: Chinicato Municipal Business Area, Marateca Business Area, and Chinicato-Pinheiral Business Area.

Contract value: €4,619,989.58 (excluding VAT).
