In a scenario where the country has surpassed 40,000 public charging stations in operation, the current tenders for 2025 seek to sustain this growth trend.
Below, Mobility Portal España compiles projects focused not only on installation but also on integrating complementary solutions such as photovoltaic energy, electrical storage, and maintenance.
In the airport sector, Aena, through the César Manrique Lanzarote Airport Management, launched a tender for the maintenance of electric vehicle charging facilities.
With a contract priced at 31,050 euros excluding tax, the service will be extended for 12 months, and the deadline for submitting offers is 11:59 p.m. on March 31, 2025.
For its part, the Delegate Department of Territorial and Environmental Management, SA, is promoting civil works and affected services for up to seven rapid charging points in different locations on the island of Tenerife.
This project, under the umbrella of European funds, has a budget of 208,367.5 euros and a seven-month execution period.
Companies have until 11:59 p.m. (22:59 Canary Islands time) on March 31, 2025, to submit their applications.
In the area of security and public services, the Castelldefels City Council is promoting a project to provide its Local Police with charging infrastructure.
This is an abbreviated contract to install refueling stations for the police force’s electric vehicles, with a base budget of 95,696.36 euros.
The deadline for applications is April 2, 2025 at 6:59 p.m.
In line with the modernization of the municipal vehicle fleet, the Zamora City Council’s Office has launched a tender for the purchase of an electric vehicle along with a charging station.
With an estimated budget of €37,190.08, the project is expected to be completed within 60 days.
Bids may be submitted until 11:59 p.m. on April 3, 2025.
One of the largest projects is being developed within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan (PRTR) to install charging stations in various prisons across the country.
This tender, managed by the State-owned Real Estate Asset Management Company (Segipsa), has an estimated total value of 1,369,560.52 euros and will be completed within eight months.
The contract is divided into two lots.
The first covers Andalusia, the Balearic Islands, Castilla-La Mancha, Murcia, and Valencia with a budget of 734,016.9 euros.

In parallel, municipal governments are also promoting administrative concessions to pave the way for public-private partnerships.

Another similar case occurs in El Molar (Madrid), where private use of public roads is offered for 12 years to install three rapid and semi-rapid charging stations, each with two associated spaces.
The contract has an estimated value of 18,000 euros and has a submission deadline of April 7, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.
On a smaller scale, but with a strategic focus, the Decentralized Municipal Entity of Isil and Alós is calling for a tender for the installation of a single charging point in the urban area.
The contract, valued at 943 euros, establishes a minimum power of 22 kW, connectivity with management platforms, and compliance with current energy regulations.
The submission of bids closes on April 7, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.
In the south of the country, the Carchuna-Calahonda Local Autonomous Entity is committed to supplying and installing three charging stations, also financed by the Moves III program.
This contract, valued at 51,600 euros, has a 60-day execution period and accepts offers until April 10, 2025 at 3:00 p.m.
