Ozzano dell’Emilia Advances with 14 A2A Charging Infrastructures

Currently, six of the 14 planned charging infrastructures are already active, located at strategic points such as Via Enrico Berlinguer 4, Viale 2 Giugno, Via Ettore Nardi, Via Guglielmo Marconi, and Piazza Allende. The remaining infrastructures are either under installation or in the planning phase.

The municipality of Ozzano dell’Emilia is taking a significant step towards sustainability and electric mobility by implementing 14 charging infrastructures, which together will provide 28 charging points for electric vehicles (EVs).

This project aligns with the Municipal Administration‘s goal of promoting an accessible public charging network, designed to meet the needs of local residents and visitors travelling for work or leisure.

Currently, six of the 14 planned infrastructures are already active, located at strategic points such as Via Enrico Berlinguer 4, Viale 2 Giugno, Via Ettore Nardi, Via Guglielmo Marconi, and Piazza Allende.

The remaining infrastructures are either under installation or in the planning phase, marking the municipality’s ongoing commitment to energy transition and carbon emission reduction.

The project stands out for its focus on sustainability, as all the stations are powered by 100% certified green energy.

Various Charging Capacities to Meet Diverse Needs

The installed infrastructures include five quick hybrid stations (with alternating current up to 22 kilowatts) and nine fast multi-standard stations, which combine direct current charging points (up to 50 kilowatts) with alternating current points (up to 22 kilowatts).

These configurations cater to both everyday users and those requiring fast and efficient charging during their journeys.

Additionally, all the infrastructures are designed to allow for the simultaneous charging of two vehicles, maximising functionality and efficiency.

A Service Available 24/7

The A2A charging network is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ensuring continuous access for users.

A2A’s management platform provides real-time monitoring of the charging stations and enables remote interventions, such as unlocking cables in case of technical issues.

This ensures quick resolutions and a high-quality user experience.

To utilise the charging points, users can access the E-Moving App, which provides real-time information on the location and availability of stations.
