Clean Tech Company Quantron AG and Ford Trucks, a leading name in the heavy commercial vehicle industry, have officially signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to explore a groundbreaking collaboration.
This partnership aims to integrate Quantron’s innovative “Quantron Inside” technology into Ford Trucks’ vehicles, with the goal of facilitating emission-free transport solutions.

The main focus of this strategic alliance is the development of hydrogen fuel cell-powered heavy-duty trucks based on the FORD F-Max platform.
Quantron AG, known for its expertise in sustainable passenger and freight transport solutions, will bring its Quantron Inside technology to the table.
This technology encompasses an effective range, innovative e-axle, high-power battery customization, fuel cell and tank integration, advanced energy management, and optimized aerodynamics, all designed to maximize efficiency and reduce emissions.
Through this collaboration, the two companies intend to fast-track the market introduction of hydrogen fuel cell trucks that meet the rigorous demands of the modern commercial transportation industry.
The initial phase of the partnership, set to commence in Q1 2024, will focus on adapting Ford’s advanced trucks to comply with the latest safety and environmental regulations.
Quantron’s rich experience in developing zero-emission drivetrain solutions for commercial vehicles is a crucial asset in this endeavor.
The company has already delivered over 200 zero-emission vehicles, including battery-electric and fuel cell electric vehicles.
