Although Rheidon Tech is headquartered in China, it began selling its products in Europe in 2023. Current markets include Austria, Germany, Hungary, Spain, among others.
To raise global awareness of its product portfolio, the company presented its electric vehicle (EV) chargers in the E-Mobility Book 2025, a Mobility Portal catalogue that serves as a key shop window for companies in the sector.

Three products, three use cases: from the smart cable to the three-phase wallbox
Participation in the E-Mobility Book 2025 includes three devices aimed at different charging scenarios.
Below are their key specifications as verified in the technical data sheets supplied by the company.
PC280-7K2: portable Type 2 charger with manual current control
The PC280-7K2 is a portable charger for home and semi-mobile use that delivers up to 7.2 kW on single-phase 230 V. It allows manual current adjustment between six and 32 A, making it easy to match the capacity of the installation or temporary constraints.
For the user interface, it features a 3.5-inch display and mechanical button.
The design prioritises robustness: a reinforced PC housing, IP65 rating and a Type 2 connector.
Residual current protection includes Type A RCD with 6 mA DC detection and a protective conductor monitor, an advantage over basic solutions.
The package includes a 1.3 m input cable and a six m charging cable, long enough to reach different vehicle inlet positions.
The unit weighs 4.5 kg and measures 200 × 90 × 67 mm, which makes it easy to carry.
It operates between –30 °C and +50 °C, with working humidity of 5% to 95% and an altitude limit < 3,000 m.
For the mains connection, the manufacturer specifies a Schuko IP44 plug and a CEE 32 A 230 V single-phase option, depending on market and installation.

WB500-22K: 22 kW three-phase wallbox with Wi-Fi, RFID and ≥99% efficiency
For fixed installations with higher power, Rheidon offers the WB500-22K, a wallbox delivering up to 22 kW on 400 V three-phase at 32 A.
The technical sheet states energy efficiency ≥99%, a key indicator for minimising losses in continuous operation.

In terms of construction, it uses reinforced PC, measures 31 × 27 × 6.7 cm and weighs 6 kg.
It is designed to operate between –30 °C and +50 °C, with 5% to 95% humidity, storage –30 °C to +60 °C and altitude < 3,000 m; conditions that suit protected outdoor areas or ventilated garages.
For connectivity, the unit includes Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n, 2.4 GHz; 2412–2472 MHz band), enabling app control and over-the-air updates. It also adds RFID (13.58 MHz) for user authentication and basic access management without relying on mobile networks — a valuable feature in corporate or residential car parks.
Regarding standards compliance, the model lists EN IEC 61851, EMC compatibility with EN IEC 61000-6-1:2019 / EN IEC 61000-6-3:2021, and RoHS.
This combination covers the chief requirements for functional safety, electromagnetic compatibility and restricted substances.
AC800: 3.6 kW EVSE cable with comprehensive electrical protection

Rounding out the line-up, the AC800 is a smart cable (integrated EVSE) for single-phase 230 V with a maximum power of 3.6 kW (16 A).
It targets users who prefer plug-and-charge simplicity with built-in protection.
The manufacturer highlights 99% efficiency and a broad protection suite: earth-leakage, grounding protection, over-current, anti-surge, over-temperature, plug temperature protection, short-circuit, low- and high-voltage.
For an everyday device, this package reduces risks both for the vehicle and the installation.
Physically, it weighs 0.4 kg, making it easy to keep in the boot, and it shares the same environmental ranges as the rest of the family: –30 °C to +50 °C in operation, –30 °C to +60 °C in storage and 5% to 95% humidity.
In terms of certifications, the data sheet lists EN IEC 62196 (connectors), EN IEC 62893 (cables) and RoHS.

“Rheidon Tech started because I bought a Tesla in 2020 and had a bad experience charging at home with several third-party chargers,” explained Joe Lin, CEO of Rheidon Tech, in an interview with Mobility Portal.

This inspired Lin to design a product that would provide a better experience “and live up to the quality and lifestyle of driving a great EV.”
“I was frustrated by having to squint to see a small screen, so in our first generation of chargers, we purposefully designed a large display with clear indications of the charging parameters,” he said.
Although these products were initially created to meet the needs of individual users, they are now also offered to fleet companies.
“They’ve given us positive feedback because they are looking for a charger that aligns with the high-quality design of their electric vehicles,” the CEO explained.
