The Tomorrow.Mobility World Congress 2023 (TMWC23), which will take place from the 7th to the 9th of November in Barcelona, is expected to be the largest edition ever organized since its inception.
“We will have more than 25,000 people from 140 countries, and there will be over 600 speakers,” stated Delphine Romeu, the Congress Director, in a conversation with Mobility Portal Europe.
The conference will bring together industry executives, government leaders, and global experts with the aim of highlighting diversity in various sessions.
“We will incorporate both the perspective of the private sector, with multinational corporations, and that of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups,” Romeu commented.
“We are the only event in the world that brings together this entire ecosystem,” she added.
Shifting gears towards sustainable mobility
The TMWC is an unrivaled platform for urban mobility , a 3-day summit where global experts delve into the most relevant issues for the future of the sector.
This year, TMWC’s full focus is on real implementation, with a range of sessions looking at the groundbreaking projects and solutions currently moving mobility forward.
In addition to a dedicated Mobility Zone featuring a Congress room and Agora, the program will include plenary sessions tackling mobility issues in the Main Auditorium and a parallel Digital Program, making this an essential event for the entire sector.

According to various industry experts, projections indicate an increase in emissions in the coming years if immediate adjustments are not implemented.
In this context, TMWC is born as a collaboration between Fira Barcelona and EIT Urban Mobility, an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology of the European Union.
Its aim is to establish itself as a global reference in the field of mobility and transportation, merging a continuously growing leading event with an active digital platform throughout the year, in addition to serving as an innovation hub that attracts key industry stakeholders and contributes to making mobility more sustainable and inclusive for all citizens.
“For us, as a platform, it is essential to bring together this entire ecosystem with the goal of accelerating sustainable and smart urban mobility,” stated Romeu.
