Trojan Energy has announced a new collaboration with Coventry City Council to deploy its home charging system, known as Trojan Home.
The initiative is now live in the city as part of a trial phase.
The programme seeks to offer a smarter and fairer charging solution for residents who park on-street.
By connecting directly to a household’s own energy supply, Trojan Home enables low-cost, flexible charging right outside the front door.
The partnership with Coventry marks the company’s fifth such agreement, strengthening its network of collaborations with local authorities.
According to the company, these partnerships allow councils to expand charging access for their residents and support the transition towards more sustainable transport.
Mark Constable, Head of Public Affairs at the company, states: “Good news for consumers who park on-street. This time, our partners at Coventry City Council are looking to deliver charging at domestic rates for their constituents.”
“Trojan Home continues to go from strength to strength – the first Coventry sign-ups are already coming in,” he adds.
The company indicated that more locations will be announced soon.
