Veltium Smart Chargers is already growing organically throughout Spain, and borders are no longer a limit to internationalizing its eMobility solutions.
Focusing on Europe, Veltium continues to make steady progress in the southern part of the continent.
It currently operates in Spain, Portugal, and Italy, and is exploring new markets such as Benelux and France.
“We feel comfortable in Southern Europe and may target Central Europe at some point, but the North is not our priority,” says Cantalapiedra in conversation with Mobility Portal Europe.
The company has chosen to focus on high-growth areas, avoiding competition in regions where brands are already well established.
“Some brands have tried to enter here and haven’t succeeded, which makes us question whether it’s wise to do the opposite,” he explains.
Additionally, Latin America appears on its expansion radar.
While no specific dates have been disclosed yet, the Spanish firm is analyzing opportunities in countries where the energy transition is advancing rapidly and where its experience in digitalization, fleet management, and remote charging control can offer scalable solutions.
Veltium consolidates its presence in Italy
Veltium Smart Chargers continues with its internationalization strategy, with active presence in key sector events such as KEY – The Energy Transition Expo, recently held in Rimini, Italy.
During the event, the company presented its solutions for corporate and residential environments, reaffirming its position as a leading technology provider in smart charging infrastructure.
According to the company, they made “interesting contacts” and witnessed a strong turnout from across the electric mobility sector, both nationally and internationally.
Veltium in numbers
When talking about figures, there are some highlights, as this year has been especially positive for Veltium.
Why?
So far, they’ve seen a threefold growth in operations compared to previous years.
“In 2024, our figures tripled and now in 2025 we aim to consolidate this growth,” says Cantalapiedra, emphasizing that despite challenges in the national market, results have exceeded expectations.
How is this growth achieved? Here are two key aspects to highlight:
In terms of products, Veltium has positioned itself with two main product lines: the LITE range, aimed at residential and home use, and the POINT range, focused on corporate environments and public charging infrastructure.

Strategic partnerships are also part of the equation.
In 2023, Veltium signed a key agreement with Grupo Elektra, allowing them to reach new customers and installers.
“This partnership has been very successful, as we are achieving greater market penetration and reaching certain customers and installers we couldn’t reach before,” the executive confirms.
Veltium and its formula for fleet electrification: Fleet-at-home
One of the standout products in Veltium’s catalog is its Fleet-at-home solution, which just launched its 2.0 version.
It is specifically designed for companies managing electric vehicle fleets whose employees charge at home.
“This service allows companies to monitor home charging sessions, oversee them and compensate the costs. It’s proving to be a success,” says Cantalapiedra.
“With the recent release of the second version of the platform, companies now have more and better functionalities, giving them greater autonomy in monitoring the chargers.”
This model has already been adopted by several multinational companies and, according to the executive, “it is increasingly in demand and delivering exceptional results.”

The system has been successfully implemented in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, delivery services, automotive, and furniture & decoration, demonstrating its versatility.
Fleet-at-home provides an innovative response to the challenges faced by companies during the transition to electrification.
“Most people, when thinking about fleets, only consider last-mile or commercial fleets. But the reality is that many corporate vehicles are used for both work and personal life and don’t rest at a corporate base,” explains Cantalapiedra.
In this scenario, Veltium facilitates a program to efficiently manage the energy consumption of electric vehicles.
This is achieved by combining the installation of LITE home chargers in employees’ homes with dedicated management software.
In doing so, energy consumption is monitored and the costs of used electricity are compensated.
This Veltium proposal has effectively simplified electric fleet management, becoming one of the flagship offerings in its eMobility portfolio.
And now, it is preparing to reach new markets—not even ruling out crossing the Atlantic in the medium or long term.
