China-based OEM Xpeng has entered the Polish market with the launch of three electric vehicles (EVs): the G9 SUV, the G6 coupe SUV, and the P7 sedan.
All three of its advanced EVs boast a Euro NCAP 5-star safety rating.
Deniz Mei, New Market Development Department general manager at the company, says: “ Our vehicles set a new standard for electric mobility by combining innovation, performance, and advanced technology. We believe Polish customers will appreciate our vision of the future of transportation.”
The launch event, held at Warsaw’s MOXO club, is part of the company’s European expansion strategy.
Inchcape, with over two decades of experience in the Polish automotive industry, has been announced as the exclusive distributor for Xpeng in the country.
Witold Wcisło, Inchcape Poland managing director, states: “We are excited that Inchcape Poland can be part of this journey, offering customers the most advanced electric vehicles.”
The first showroom in Warsaw is already operational, with plans to expand to additional locations from April 2025.
In addition to its EV lineup, the company also unveiled the futuristic eVTOL Xpeng X2, that spans from smart EVs to flying cars, during the launch event.
The firm also unveiled cutting-edge technological innovations at the launch event, including SEPA 2.0 (Smart Electric Platform Architecture) and CIB.
The SEPA 2.0 EV development framework is designed to offer enhanced efficiency, reduced software adaptation costs, and 800V fast-charging technology that adds 120km in a mere five minutes.
The CIB technology integrates the battery into the vehicle’s body structure, which enhances chassis rigidity, optimises interior space, and reduces vehicle weight.
The vehicles are also equipped with interiors finished with premium materials and an intelligent system powered by NVIDIA Orin X processors.
Also, Xpeng offers a seven-year warranty, free over-the-air updates, and impressive electric ranges.
The P7 model has a range of 576km, while the G9 and G6 models offer up to 570km on a single charge, according to the WLTP cycle.
The P7 AWD variant delivers 473hp and the G9 Performance AWD model boasting 551hp.
The G6 smart coupe SUV is not far behind, with a maximum of 476hp.
These vehicles offer rapid acceleration, with the P7 reaching 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds, the G9 in 3.9 seconds, and the G6 in 4.0 seconds.
