The European Commission gave the green light to the alliance between the automaker groups BMW and Mercedes-Benz for the deployment of an electric vehicle charging network in China.
This decision was made after concluding that the operation will not have a negative impact on the European economy.
There are no competition issues raised because the impact of the operation will be “limited” in the community market.
The file, notified to Brussels on December 19, has been examined under the simplified procedure applied to less problematic cases.
