CharIN, a global association dedicated to promoting interoperability in electric vehicle charging, is gearing up for its upcoming testival in the United States.

CharIN boasts over 300 international members and is committed to establishing the Combined Charging System (CCS) and the Megawatt Charging System (MCS) as the global standard for charging vehicles of all types.

One of CharIN’s primary objectives is to expand its network of companies supporting CCS, accelerate the development of charging-related standards, and establish a certification system for manufacturers implementing CCS in their products.

The eighth testival organized by CharIN showcased the participation of renowned brands such as Circontrol, dSpace, Ebee Smart Technologies, Eco/G, Ekoenergetyka, Hyundai, Kempower, Ingeteam, Keyights, Lotus, Lucid, Man, Mercedes Benz, Nissan, Pionix, Power Electronics, Rectifer, Group Renault, Scania, Switch, Gr Europe, Vector, Versinetic, Vestel, Volkswagen, Volvo, and Volvo Trucks.

Unlike traditional events in the electric mobility sector, the testival was a technical and technological gathering.

Experts from various companies tested the compatibility and integration of their technologies with different models of electric cars showcased at the fair.

As the electric vehicle market continues to grow worldwide, the importance of a standardized charging infrastructure cannot be overstated.

CharIN’s testivals play a crucial role in fostering collaboration and innovation among industry leaders to ensure seamless charging experiences for electric vehicle owners.

The upcoming testival in the United States is expected to bring together key players in the electric vehicle and charging infrastructure sectors.

Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their latest advancements, test interoperability, and contribute to the ongoing development of charging standards.

With the rapid expansion of electric mobility, events like CharIN’s testivals are pivotal in driving the industry forward.

By promoting collaboration and standardization, CharIN is paving the way for a future where electric vehicles can be charged effortlessly, regardless of the make or model.
