How to enhance the electrical grid at rapid charging stations? SolaX Power has the answer

As a leading provider of solar solutions, SolaX Power expands its range of services with solutions for electric vehicle charging. What innovations does its offering include, and what role do batteries play in improving charging infrastructure?
(Revisar Ailu) How to enhance the electrical grid at rapid charging stations? SolaX Power has the answer

The growing demand for electric vehicles is putting increasing pressure on the electrical infrastructure to meet charging needs.

A high-power charger can draw over 150kW, while many local power grids are not designed to support this type of consumption in specific areas.

In light of this, SolaX Power offers solutions that not only optimize the use of the existing grid, but also provide battery-based systems to increase the power available at fast-charging locations.

“We do not have fast-charging equipment, but we do have systems to optimize the network in those locations, through batteries or charging elements that deliver high power.”

The company’s advanced battery systems act as a kind of temporary “store” of electricity.

During low-demand hours, cells are charged using grid power or, in installations integrated with solar panels, directly from renewable sources.

Then, when demand for fast charging increases, these batteries release the stored energy, delivering more power than the grid alone could offer.

This approach not only solves the problem of limited infrastructure capacity, but also optimizes energy usage, helping to avoid demand spikes that could otherwise overload the local power grid.

Furthermore, integration with renewable energy sources, such as solar panels, allows the charging process to be more sustainable and economical.

In this sense, SolaX Power has a clear focus on maximizing efficiency:

“If the grid at a location has a delivery capacity of approximately 50 or 100 kW, the installation of a battery system could allow up to five to six times more power to be supplied in that area.”

SolaX Power charging offer

One of the pillars of the company is the flexibility of its teams.

The EV chargers they offer can be adapted to both residential and commercial configurations, operating in single-phase or three-phase modes, allowing their deployment in a wide range of environments.

“There is no need to purchase separate equipment, just activate the function in single-phase or three-phase mode on the same device,” he explains.

Models available in Europe include chargers from 7 kW to 11 to 22 kW, tailored to the specific needs of each user.

In addition, the new devices include advanced features, such as the ability to operate in V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) mode.

This allows cars to not only charge, but also return energy to the grid or use it for other purposes, such as powering a home or office.

SolaX Power’s approach to electric mobility goes beyond traditional chargers.

Their products are designed to be integrated with photovoltaic systems, which adds value in terms of sustainability and energy savings.

Using artificial intelligence integrated into the company’s inverters, the system optimizes energy use, adjusting the charging process based on solar generation and user needs.

This allows for reduced operating costs for refuelling stations, offering a more efficient and environmentally friendly service.

Meanwhile, its commercial products are designed to group multiple charging points, managing them from a centralized platform that allows efficient and secure administration.

This system ensures that the equipment is protected against vandalism or accidents, critical aspects in public stations.

The combination of smart batteries, photovoltaic integration and flexible chargers allows SolaX Power to position itself at the forefront of the sector.
