Endesa X Way presents “Heavy Wav-e,” a project in which they are participating to contribute to the improvement of sustainable transportation networks in the European Union (EU).
Endesa X Way in Spain and Ewiva in Italy will carry out this plan, allowing for the installation of 460 High Power Charging (HPC) points for passengers and cargo with up to 400 kW capacity.
These points will be placed at 50 locations, with 30 in Italy and 20 in Spain.
The initiative, which began in June of this year, is set to conclude by December 2025.
Heavy Wav-e started its operation after the awarding of the Miliar-E and Next Wav-E projects in 2021, and the installation of 1,361 charging points in Italy and Spain is anticipated.
This project has received significant investment from the European Commission, which has allocated 277 million euros to Italian operators out of a total of 352 million available for 26 projects in 12 member states.
