The eMobility industry is constantly evolving, and Shariq AbdulHai, founder and CEO of Eventackle, a business events marketplace, stands out as a leading figure in organising initiatives that drive this progress forward.

“When we launched the London EV Show in 2021, we were clear from day one that we wanted it to be a global platform for the entire electric vehicle industry,” AbdulHai explains while discussing the origins of his flagship event.
His primary goal has been to promote eMobility advancements globally from the heart of London, bringing together key players from the UK, Europe, and across the world.
The CEO reveals that in June 2025, Madrid will host the first Euro EV Show, an event designed to connect the European industry with international markets.
And there’s more…
The Dubai International EV Show is already being planned for November 2025, focusing on the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the wider Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
“These events reflect our mission to lead sustainability and technology on a global scale,” AbdulHai says, highlighting Eventackle’s strategic focus.
London as the eMobility epicentre
The London EV Show, set to take place on 12–13 November 2025, has proven itself as a successful platform.
AbdulHai notes that previous editions have received “excellent feedback,” solidifying the show’s reputation as a key reference in the sector.
He also emphasises the importance of involving government representatives in events to address industry challenges.
“We have not only UK government representatives but also international delegations,” AbdulHai comments.

These gatherings enable discussions and B2B agreements that advance eMobility policies and strategies.
On the challenges facing the UK’s eMobility sector, AbdulHai stresses the need for appropriate policies and robust infrastructure.
While London boasts a good network of charging points, challenges like range anxiety persist.
“We need policies that support not only local manufacturers but also international brands,” he notes, adding that the adoption of electric vehicles continues to grow, driven by proactive consumers.
A personal story behind eMobility success
AbdulHai’s journey in event organisation began nearly two decades ago.
“I’ve been in this industry for 19 years, and next year it will be 20,” he shares.
Originally from Kashmir, AbdulHai blends his love for his homeland with his current life in the UK, where he lives with his family.
This global connection reflects his vision of bringing electric mobility to an international stage.
As the conversation concludes, AbdulHai acknowledges the crucial role of media in spreading the word about initiatives like the London EV Show.
“I believe the media plays a very important role,” he concludes, underlining the importance of creating spaces where industry, government, and the public can converge.
