In a global context where the transition to electric mobility is accelerating, EVjuiceNgo, the brand under PB Design, emerges as a key player in the provision of charging infrastructure.

At the London EV Show, Scott Edsall, Managing Director, shares with Mobility Portal Europe the company’s roadmap, highlighting its advanced modular fast chargers and new technological solutions it plans to integrate into its portfolio.

During the event, the company showcased devices with power outputs ranging from 60 to 180 kilowatts (kW).

“We have a strategic plan to develop chargers of up to 400 kW, as well as battery-backed equipment for future deployments,” Edsall explains.

This battery backup technology will allow operators to manage more vehicles without the need for large network infrastructures.

And that’s not all.

In addition to the high-power equipment, EVjuiceNgo is working on vehicle-to-grid (V2X) solutions.

This bidirectional technology will enable cars not only to charge but also to feed energy back to the grid when necessary, contributing to more efficient energy management.

Next year, we will launch a V2X solution,” assures the Managing Director.

EVjuiceNgo sets sights on Europe and America

Its main market remains the United Kingdom (UK), where it already has a significant customer base, including Instavolt, Osprey Networks, as well as local authorities and fleet operators.

However, the company is looking to the future with plans for international expansion.

Where exactly?

“We will start in the UK and then shift our focus to America, specifically the United States and Canada,” Edsall states.

He adds: “We will also explore opportunities in Europe, likely in the Nordic countries, and to a lesser extent in Central Europe due to its high market saturation.”

Spain, Portugal, and similar regions are also on their radar.

To meet this international demand, the firm is implementing strategies to provide support across different time zones and regions without compromising service quality.

This expansion will be accompanied by the approval of its products within the European Union, allowing them to enter European markets more easily.

What is its competitive advantage?

Unlike other competitors in the electric vehicle charging market, PB Design stands out for its ability to control the entire design and manufacturing process of its products.

“We don’t just produce, we own all the technology we use,” he points out.

And he emphasises: “This allows us to offer direct support and customised solutions to our customers.”

This ability to personalise and control is one of the key features highly valued by its clients, particularly fleet operators and local authorities who require tailored solutions for their specific needs.

“More and more, clients expect charging station providers not just to manufacture devices but also to offer in-depth knowledge of charging technology and energy conversion,” the Managing Director adds.

In this context, another of EVjuiceNgo’s innovations is the incorporation of multimedia screens in its devices.

“We will implement larger screens that will allow ads or commercials to be displayed during the vehicle charging process,” he confirms.

This innovation not only adds value for Charge Point Operators (CPOs), but also opens up new revenue streams through advertising on the chargers.

Its presence at the London EV Show

EVjuiceNgo’s participation in the London EV Show is not only an opportunity to showcase its products but also a strategic move to position themselves as a leading player in the sector.

“We took this opportunity to show what we are doing and attract new clients,” Edsall affirms.

According to the company representative, the event draws the right clientele, such as CPOs, fleets, and local authorities.

More about PB Design

PB Design, which has been supplying backup chargers to the power grid for 45 years, has solidified its position as a trusted provider in the UK.

“Every substation has a direct current charger of our brand, and in the UK, all substations are equipped with our products,” Edsall notes.

This strong foundation has allowed them to expand their vision towards electric mobility solutions.

“We know the environment matters to us, and now we want to offer products that help the world achieve net-zero emissions,” the Managing Director asserts.

In line with this mission, PB Design also features 180 kW solar panels and is currently neutral in scope 1 and 2 emissions.
