Ewiva, the joint venture between Enel X and the Volkswagen Group, founded to accelerate the development of electric mobility in Italy, inaugurated a new ultra-fast charging station at Via Pizzardeto 20.
This is a significant milestone made possible thanks to collaboration with the local council, highlighting the desire to provide additional services for electric vehicle drivers and promote greener mobility within the region.
The new site features two columns, with each providing 150 kilowatts of power, totalling four charging points.
Located in a commercial area near the Loreto exit of the Adriatic Motorway, it’s strategically positioned for e-drivers on the A14, those making short local trips, or visitors who can take advantage of the wait time to have a snack or shop nearby.

With the inauguration of the new charging station at Via Pizzardeto 20 in Loreto, Ewiva further extends the reach of its High Power Charging (HPC) network in Italy and the Marche region, offering HPC stations from 100 to 350 kilowatts.
In the Marche region alone, the active high-power charging stations by Ewiva now total 13, with 40 charging points overall.
“Our collaboration with Loreto’s council is a point of pride, as it allows us to offer an even broader, more efficient charging service to e-drivers in the Marche, making it easier to choose electric mobility within the region,” says Daniela Biscarini, CEO of Ewiva.
“The widespread installation of ultra-fast charging stations from north to south in Italy is a fundamental goal for us, ensuring that all citizens and travellers on these routes benefit from HPC technology and can find a convenient, quick, and functional charging station with nearby services,” she adds.
“The future of electric mobility and ecological transition is advancing, and Loreto is committed to achieving this vital goal. The installation of these new high-power charging columns in such a busy area as Via Pizzardeto will serve a wide audience, from shopping centre visitors to many travellers passing through Loreto and nearby areas,” states Loreto’s Mayor, Moreno Pieroni.
“We are pleased to host in Loreto the new electric vehicle charging station, which is also the only ‘ultra-fast’ one in the area, offering higher speed and power than standard columns,” adds Loreto’s Environmental Councillor, Fabiola Principi.
She continues, “this makes us a point of reference for the region, even at the national level, as this station will also be listed in motorway guides, encouraging many travellers to exit the motorway to use it. It’s an important step in making Loreto a truly eco-friendly city.”
