Fastned, the European leader in fast-charging infrastructure, has inaugurated its first unmanned and 24/7 accessible shop in Germany.
Located at the Dinslaken-Nord fast-charging station in North Rhine-Westphalia, this innovative addition aims to revolutionize the EV charging experience.
The shop, near the A3 motorway, complements the station’s eight charging points with up to 400 kW capacity, offering barrier-free restrooms, coffee, and vending machines.
Access to the shop is seamless, verified via debit or credit card, and it reflects Fastned’s commitment to modern and customer-focused charging solutions.
“This is a major milestone for Fastned,” said Linda Boll, Country Director of Fastned Germany.
“Our new shop in Dinslaken-Nord enhances convenience for EV drivers while integrating our nature-inspired design philosophy. It’s the first step towards reimagining the EV charging experience.”

Fastned: design for a Sustainable Future
Strategically located near the Dinslaken-Nord exit on the A3, this site has been expanded to include four additional charging points and now features the first Fastned shop in Germany with seating.
Mayor Michaela Eislöffel praised the innovation, stating, “Fastned is enhancing the quality of charging experiences while combining cutting-edge technology with sustainable practices.”
To minimize emissions, Fastned adopted modular construction methods. T
he shop, made from PEFC-certified wood, eliminates the need for a concrete foundation and was installed in just two days. Its large windows offer views of the charging station while maintaining a modern, eco-friendly aesthetic.
Fastned Leads the Way in Barrier-Free Charging
Fastned currently operates 39 fast-charging stations in Germany, known for their large canopies, ample lighting, and comfortable seating areas.

This new shop exemplifies Fastned’s vision of making EV charging barrier-free and user-friendly.
By providing innovative services, Fastned continues to lead the charge in expanding Germany’s EV infrastructure while setting new standards in sustainability and convenience.
