The third edition of Global Mobility Call (GMC) concluded with a resounding call to action for governments, businesses, and stakeholders to double their efforts and collaborate toward a more sustainable future, delivering tangible benefits for society.
Organised by IFEMA MADRID and Smobhub, GMC 2024 brought together over 8,000 professionals and featured 450 thought leaders across 115 panel discussions and keynotes, presenting the latest solutions and proposals for accelerating the transformation of mobility systems.
The event also fostered collaboration among industry stakeholders, creating a unique platform for alliances and investment opportunities.
During the closing session, Arancha Priede, General Manager of Trade Fairs and Congresses at IFEMA MADRID, emphasised the importance of moving beyond presenting solutions to achieving actionable outcomes.
She stated that the event must transcend discussions to deliver tangible progress and foster partnerships that drive investments, research, and major projects.
It should further consolidate public-private collaboration for the advancement of sustainable mobility.
Priede also announced the release of the Second Global Mobility Call Sustainable Mobility Report in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute and Bable, which will summarise key insights from this edition.
Global Mobility Call 2024 awarded several distinctions, including Most Sustainable Stand for Ciclosfera, the Top Innovator Award for Grupo Ruiz, and Best Stand Design for Celering.
