Indra Showcases Technological Solutions for Smart Mobility at GMC

Indra will present its technological solutions for the digitalization of infrastructure and transportation systems, promoting smarter, connected, and intermodal mobility at the second edition of GMC.
Indra GMC

Indra will participate as an Itinerary Partner in a new edition of Global Mobility Call (GMC), an international platform organized by IFEMA MADRID and Smobhub.

The event, scheduled from October 24 to 26, will bring together key leaders and companies dedicated to sustainable mobility development.

Technological Innovation

At this event, Indra will introduce its advanced traffic and infrastructure management platform with artificial intelligence, In-Mova Traffic.

This platform can integrate a virtual crisis room to prevent incidents and improve real-time coordinated response.

It is already in use in the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Spain.

Indra will also showcase its cloud-based connected vehicle platform, which enhances traditional traffic management systems with superior intelligence, providing real-time, unprecedented precision information to both connected and non-connected vehicles, ensuring maximum safety.

The company will explain why artificial intelligence, 5G-based solutions, and cybersecurity are crucial in the digital transformation of the sector.

Through its “Mobility 2030” project, Indra is working to overcome current technological limitations for the widespread deployment of electric, connected, and autonomous vehicles on the roads.

Indra’s experts will explain how IoT, artificial intelligence, deep learning, and big data will enable the detection of abnormal driving in autonomous vehicles, traffic prediction including connected cars as sensors, toll payment per occupant in shared vehicles, and smart route planning for electric vehicles.

Urban Mobility

For the implementation of Low Emission Zones (LEZ), Indra will present its solution, which, in addition to reading license plates and controlling vehicle access, includes a sensor capable of measuring the real emissions of each vehicle and each passenger, beyond their environmental label.

The company will also introduce the progress of the first multi-city Mobility as a Service (MaaS) platform for the cities of Valencia, Valladolid, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Gijón, Logroño, and Fuenlabrada.

This platform offers citizens an integrated, single-app solution for all public and private transportation options and low emission zones.

Moreover, Indra will address the concept of a platform of platforms with the In-Mova Space solution, allowing the integration and management of data from various services and modes of transportation.

This brings intelligence for a comprehensive view, ensuring more efficient modal distribution and more straightforward, appealing, and accessible mobility for citizens.
