More and more companies are turning to innovative technologies to revolutionize the electromobility sector, and LetMeCharge is no exception.
This Spanish company aims to transform the market with a platform that, through the use of artificial intelligence (AI), promises to transform the charging experience in the country, making it more efficient and accessible.
In fact, it already has a network that integrates 37,000 charging points in Spain and 323,000 across Europe and the United States, thanks to partnerships with various companies and operators.
According to Uliana Torkunova, CEO & Founder of LetMeCharge, the company’s main goal is to “be a bridge between the user and the charging infrastructure.”
So, what is the key to their success?
The core of LetMeCharge is its artificial intelligence algorithm, which not only allows users to find available charging stations in real time but also provides personalized solutions.
This includes the option to reserve charging stations and the integration of tariffs into a single platform, significantly simplifying the process for drivers.
“We focus on removing barriers that users may encounter on their journey towards electric mobility, such as the lack of access to adequate charging or the complexity of managing multiple providers,” Torkunova tells Mobility Portal España.
Additionally, the platform adapts to the needs of drivers both on urban routes and long-distance journeys.
With growing demand, LetMeCharge plans to expand its functionalities to new regions in Europe, cementing its position as a key player in the electromobility revolution.
The need for accessible and user-friendly charging points
In Spain, government policies promoting the electrification of transport are driving an increase in electric vehicle sales.
Currently, 189,553 electric cars and 226,413 plug-in hybrids are on the road in the country, according to information from the European Alternative Fuels Observatory.
In this context, there is an urgent need for solutions that can support this expansion.
For Torkunova, “the big challenge is not just increasing the number of stations but making them easy to use and accessible for everyone.”
Despite the progress, much remains to be done so that Spain can reach the level of other European countries in terms of charging infrastructure.
However, LetMeCharge is confident that its innovative approach “can close this gap in the coming years.”
The future lies in smart charging
One of the major challenges for the sector is making the charging experience as seamless as possible.
With an increasingly interconnected ecosystem, LetMeCharge is betting on devices that not only grow in number but also in intelligence.
“The real innovation lies in offering integrated solutions that not only meet the need for charging but also improve the life of the electric driver,” says Torkunova.
This includes developing technologies that adapt to users’ consumption habits and optimize the available energy.
The path towards mass electric mobility in Spain is still full of challenges, but with initiatives like LetMeCharge, the country is preparing to take a significant step towards a more accessible, efficient, and sustainable charging infrastructure.
Will LetMeCharge be the catalyst that Spain needs to lead the new era of sustainable mobility?
The answer seems to lie in the company’s ability to continue innovating and expanding its reach.
