NIMA Energy, which plans and provides charging infrastructure in the Nordic countries and Northern Europe, is making progress with the installation of ultra-fast chargers in Stockholm, Sweden.
Construction is underway on another of their electric vehicle charging centres in the capital, this time on Ringvägen.
Currently, NIMA Energy is building eight new ultra-fast charging points at this location, each with an installed capacity of 300 kilowatts, allowing each device to deliver up to 300 km of range in just 15 minutes.
The company thanks Omexom and Ellevio—one of Sweden’s largest electricity network companies, which plays an active role in the move towards a more electrified society—for their continued efforts on the Ringvägen project.
In addition, NIMA Energy has also started work on 16 new charging points on Valhallavägen and 14 on Gustavslundsvägen.
About Nima Energy
Nima develops, builds and operates stations for ultra-fast EV charging of passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
Nima was founded in 2020 and is based in Malmö, Sweden.
The company is owned by its founders together with Niam via its infrastructure fund Niam Infra Fund, which in May 2022 was announced as a minority shareholder in Nima and a financier for the company’s future scale-up and charging station roll-out plan.
Nima’s goal is to become one of the leading EV Charge Point Operators for ultra-fast charging in the Nordic region, and by extension Northern Europe.
