OMODA continues its expansion strategy in the United Kingdom (UK) by opening early reservations for its two debut models: the petrol-powered OMODA 5 and the fully electric crossover SUV, the OMODA E5.

With a refundable deposit of 500 pounds, customers can secure a priority spot when the order books officially open and prices are announced shortly, with first deliveries expected in August.

This news comes as the first UK-spec OMODA 5 rolls off the production line. Additionally, the first model of this vehicle has just been registered in the UK.

Featuring a 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine with 187 HP, this car is designed to stand out from the crowd.

Its dynamic fastback shape incorporates OMODA’s Art in Motion design philosophy, combining avant-garde art influences with a functional form.

Inside, the car boasts two high-resolution 10.25″ screens, multi-colour interior lighting, wireless phone charging, and a full suite of ADAS safety technologies.

The fully electric OMODA E5 is powered by a 150 kilowatts electric motor and a 61 kilowatt-hour battery.

With optimised aerodynamics and class-leading noise reduction, the OMODA E5 offers a WLTP range of 257 miles.

The electric crossover SUV can charge up to 80 kilowatts, with a recharge from 30 to 80 per cent possible in just 28 minutes.

Both the OMODA 5 and the OMODA E5 models have been awarded a five-star EuroNCAP safety rating and come with a seven-year / 100,000-mile manufacturer’s warranty as standard.
