EVcharge, the company’s white-label solution, is already being implemented in countries such as France, the United Kingdom, Romania, Poland, Portugal, Colombia, Chile, Mexico, Panama, the United States, Cape Verde, and Réunion Island.
But how do they earn their clients’ trust?
By enabling charge point operators (CPOs) to manage all infrastructure from a single platform, capable of adapting to each local regulation.
Juanma Pérez, Business Unit Manager of the company, states that they are already present in all these markets and highlights that their technology allows them to scale quickly without regulatory friction:
“We have a development team that allows us to adapt perfectly to the reality of each country.”
With extensive operational experience, EVcharge was born as the technological branch of Etecnic, a company specialised in the development and installation of charging infrastructure in Spain.
This foundation gave them deep knowledge of the ecosystem, from the physical installation of chargers to the daily management of operations, which is now reflected in a robust and functional platform.

With this background, the company has managed to integrate the most widely used protocols and connectors in the sector, ensuring full interoperability even in heterogeneous environments such as Latin America.
“Over all this time, we’ve seen all kinds of protocols and connectors come and go; we’ve had to constantly adapt,” says the executive in an exclusive interview with Mobility Portal Europe during Power2Drive.
Smart Pricing and operational experience: the EVcharge advantage over traditional software
One of the most requested developments by CPOs is the Smart Pricing module, which allows tariffs to be adjusted based on energy availability, photovoltaic production, battery status, and real-time demand.
During his participation in industry fairs, Pérez Thompson explained how the tool already enables the integration of renewable sources, batteries, and grid logic to optimise tariff behaviour and attract users.
Unlike purely digital developers, EVcharge combines software with direct operational experience:
“We have worked under extreme conditions and in changing contexts thanks to the experience gained through Etecnic, a leading CPO in Spain, which allows us to bring that expertise into the design of our tools.”

And he adds:
“We have the knowledge, experience and comprehensive vision to offer a real solution to the needs of a CPO.”
The platform also includes maintenance modules, operational reports and digital marketing functions aimed at retaining users and increasing footfall at charging stations.
Centralised totem and alarms: smart hardware for more efficient stations
In line with the AFIR Regulation —in force since April 2024—, EVcharge has developed a centralised payment totem that meets accessibility and payment method requirements without requiring prior registration.
This device supports multiple chargers simultaneously from a single point, avoiding the need to install individual terminals, reducing CAPEX and simplifying OPEX management.
“With a solution like this, not only are costs reduced, but the user experience is significantly improved, offering a process similar to that of a traditional service station,” highlights Pérez Thompson.
The company has also introduced a cable alarm system, designed to mitigate theft at public stations. These types of incidents have increased and represent a challenge for operators, especially in urban or poorly monitored areas.
International scalability and strategic positioning
In addition to the markets already mentioned, EVcharge is developing partnerships with CPOs in France, England and Turkey.
It is also executing projects in Canada and Madagascar related to large-scale electric fleets, integrating battery storage.
“We are expanding in North America, Eastern Europe, and new cities across the continent,” confirms the executive.
This rollout allows the company to participate in leading industry fairs, such as Power2Drive Europe, where it presents an integrated ecosystem combining software as a service (SaaS), mobile application, smart hardware and advanced energy logic.

Poland Accelerates Charging Infrastructure Expansion with 50% Year-on-Year Growth
Poland is expanding its charging network with a notable increase in May 2025. However, two provinces stand out in terms of charger concentration, while none of the remaining 14 has more than 500 installations. How does this progress align with the AFIR targets?
